China tour highlights

From modern cities to remote countryside, our China trips reveal the many sides of this vast and captivating country. Experience dramatic contrasts - neon skylines in Beijing and Shanghai, sweeping grasslands and dramatic mountain scenery.

Great Wall of China
Stretching over 13,000 miles, the Great Wall of China is the longest man-made structure in the world and a must-see on any China itinerary. Our Walk the Great Wall Tour offers opportunities to view, and even walk along stunning sections of the Wall, including coastal stretches, forested paths and the impressive beacon-topped hills of Jinshanling. You’ll even sail across Panjiakou Lake where the Wall crosses the water – a unique and unforgettable experience.

Terracotta Warriors
Located near the city of Xian in Shaanxi Province, the Terracotta Army is one of China’s most iconic archaeological discoveries. Commissioned by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, this life-size army of soldiers, chariots and horses was buried to protect him in the afterlife. On our China Highlights tour, you’ll visit the excavation site, see artisans recreate the warriors today, and explore Xian’s, including its Muslim Quarter, ancient Silk Road relics and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
